Staff Therapists

Nicole Weithaas Scott MPT
A lifelong athlete, Nicole graduated in 2001 from Nova Southwestern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with a masters degree in physical therapy. She has worked with professional athletes and specializes in athletic rehab, pediatrics, and analyzing runners’ form. Nicole joined CompletePT in 2005 and quickly moved into a leadership role, becoming the Clinical Director in 2006.

Jennifer Haynes, MPT.
Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Kentucky. After moving to California, she first worked in an occupational health center where she specialized in orthopedic rehabilitation, ergonomics, and safe return to work. She joined the CompletePT team in 2005, and in 2006 became one of CPT's Co-Assistant Clinical Directors.

Kristy Laing, DPT
After being a competitive gymnast for seventeen years, Kristy graduated from Ithaca College in upstate New York in 2005 with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began her career by joining the CompletePT staff in January, 2006. Her completed research project on exercise and geriatric low back pain is slated for publication in “Spine Journal." Kristy became one of CPT's Co-Assistant Clinical Directors in 2007.

Jennifer Fletcher, DPT, MOT
Jenn graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences with a masters degree in Occupational Therapy and a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2005 and 2006, respectively. She has an extensive background in manual therapy of the extremities and the spine. As an occupational therapist, Jenn focused her work in acute care and in pediatric settings. As a physical therapist, she has worked in outpatient neuromuscular, pediatrics, and orthopedic settings. Jenn joined the CompletePT staff in January 2007.

Gerard Gumboc, RPT
Gerard earned his Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 from San Juan De Dios College in the Philippines. He started his career in the acute care setting at St. Vincent Medical Center, Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital and Valley Presbyterian Hospital in the Los Angeles area where he specialized in post-operative treatment of orthopedic and cardiac cases. His future goal is to earn his certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (O.C.S.) and his Doctorate in physical therapy. A staff therapist at CompletePT’s West Los Angeles clinic, Gerard is the Clinical Director at our new Calabasas site.

Doug Harden, PTA
Born in Florida and a graduate of Penn State University’s Physical Therapy Assistant program, Doug has worked as a Licensed PTA for over 15 years in Pennsylvania, Florida, and California. His continuing education background includes orthopedics, sports medicine, personal training and balance training. Doug was an accomplished college athlete in soccer and baseball, has over thirty years of experience in golf. A six-year naval reserve veteran, Doug joined the CompletePT team in 2007, working at both the West Los Angeles and Woodland Hills locations.

John Koegel, DPT
A native Californian, John received his degree in physical therapy from California State University at Long Beach. John has been in private practice for over twenty years, focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. He earned his doctorate degree in physical therapy from Boston University in 2007. John formed CompletePT with Lynda Huey in 1999.

Kevin Wagner, MSPT
Originally from the Boston area, Kevin earned his Masters degree from the Quinnipiac University's Physical Therapy program in Hamden, CT in 2006. His main area of interest includes orthopedic injuries and sports rehabilitation. He has been an avid athlete his entire life, competing in soccer, lacrosse, football, swimming, and rugby. He was captain and head coach of his collegiate rugby team for two years. His graduate research project, an inter-rater reliability study on the manual palpation of the thoracic spine, is due for publication soon. In 2007 Kevin was appointed as one of our sports marketing specialists.
