Fat Tire Fest 2009

CORBA's Fat Tire Fest is the largest mountain biking festival in the Los Angeles area and great fun for all! The Fat Tire Fest and Annual Fundraiser provides vital support for all of CORBA's community programs and advocacy.

Complete PT's Director of Finance, James Cowan, participated in the event, riding in the advanced 11 mile cross-country ride with world champions:

Ned Overend (MTB World Cup Champion, NORBA National Champion, National Cyclo-Cross Champion and National XTerra Champion)

Brian Lopes (four-time Mountain Bike World Champion, nine-times National Champion, six-time UCI World Cup Champion, and Mountain Bike and BMX Hall of Fame).









Lake Castaic is the beautiful backdrop for the 2009 Fat Tire Fest. Volunteers setup and prepare for a long day of treatments as the sun breaks over the hills.

Complete PT's Licensed Physical Therapists Kristy Laing, DPT; Jenn Emery, DPT, MOT; Raina Goo, DPT; Ashley Gast, DPT; and Jason Ferine MSPT, offer complimentary Physical Therapy to participants after the bike rides.

Kristy Laing, DPT administers Physical Therapy to Ned Overend, afer his 11 mile cross country ride in the surrounding hills. Kristy performed soft tissue mobilization to release muscle pain in his shoulder and neck. Then she provided him with some basic stretching to complete at home.

Brian Lopes visits our booth, promptly bringing Ned back from his rested state.
